KAJIAN KOMUNIKASI ISLAM KOMPARASI METODOLOGI QURAIS SHIHAB DAN RASYID RIDHO TENTANG RIBA

Abstract

One of thefunctions of Islamic communication is to prevent unjustness. Riba (usury) is one of the unjust acts forbidden by Allah Sl{7, and therefore it should be prevented Riba can be literally defined as a surplus value. It can olso means the transaction of ribawy ,wich requires additional value Ribawy includes gold, siver, staplefood, and salt Riba is haram (illegal), It is based on the word of Allah, wich means "Allah justifes trading cndforbids riba". There is a methodological differences between Quraish Shihab and Rasyid Ridho. Quraish Shihsb views verses on riba as naskh - mansukh and therefore riba according to him is the additional value ctlthough only very little. On the other hand, Rasyid Ridho explains that verses on riba is achained explanation among the verses and riba according to him is the doubled surplus value.
