Kebijakan Pengelolaan Energi Panas Bumi di Indonesia

Abstract

Geothermal energy is one of nonconventional resources such as solar energy, tidal energy, wind energy, biogas energy, and biomass energy. Natural resources which are unrenewable have been running out whereas natural resources which are renewable have decreased in quantity as well as quality. Due to those facts, it is time for Indonesia to utilize geothermal energy to be power plants in Indonesia regarding 127 volcanoes which belong to Indonesia. It is widely known that geothermal energy can be obtained freely and sustainably from the nature. Besides, environmental impact is not quite significant compared to other unrenewable resources such as crude oil and coal.
