Restorasi gigi anterior yang terlihat natural merupakan faktor estetik yang penting. Restorasi resin komposit adalah restorasi estetik di bidang konservasi gigi. Restorasi resin komposit direct paling umum dilakukan pada pasien karena langsung dikerjakan didalam mulut, menggunakan bahan yang sewarna dengan gigi aslinya dan cara manipulasi yang mudah. Restorasi direct pada gigi anterior dilakukan pada kasus diastema anterior, fraktur gigi anterior, karies kelas III, IV GV Black dan perubahan warna pada gigi. Teknik restorasi ini merupakan perawatan konservatif di kedokteran gigi.References
